What better way to spend the weekend than with a few exotic beauties? I’m talking about beauties of the Two Wheeled kind! Yesterday I’d read on 248am about the Limited Edition Bimota Delirio Azzuro, so I decided to check it out first thing in the morning. The bike in focus today is the “Bimota Delirio Azzuro”; it’s based on the production series DB6 Delirio. This particular bike was displayed at Tristar motors. The people there were nice enough to let me take all the pictures I wanted.
Thank you Tristar!
This is an ultra limited edition bike coz sources on the internet say the Delirio is limited to just 23 units for the whole of North America!
Tech specs:
Engine: Ducati - L twin cylinder - desmodromic - 2 valves
Bore and Stroke: 94 x 71,5mm
Displacement: 992cc
Max power: 92 Cv/8500 giri/min. (67,6 kW/8500giri/min)
Max. torque: 9 kgm/4500 giri/min. (88,3 Nm/4500giri/min)
Fuel injection: Electronic fuel Injection, 45 mm throttle body
Emissions: Euro 3
Gear box: 6 speed
Clutch: Dry multi-plate with hidraulic control
The bike has minimalist styling and the lines are very sharp. Looking at it head on I must admit it was not as mean as the Brutale. The bikini fairing would not be to everyone's liking. All around the bike you can spot carbon fibre bits that impart a special feel to the overall design. The Azzuro comes in a Metallic blue and is garnished with the colors of the Italian Flag, a tribute to the Italian football team, the current football champions. Ok that’s enough talk, I’ll let the pictures do the talking.
Enjoy!!
