I'm 28 ! Aaaaaghhhh !!!

I turned 28 today; Oh how birthdays have changed. I remember jumping around like a monkey with its tail on fire on my previous b’days(around a decade ago). Now its more of a reminder that you’re getting old. What did I do on my ‘special’ day? Nothing, just the same old grind. What follows is what happened till I posted this and what will happen afterwards.

Woke up
Showered and shaved
Suited up
Got a hug and kiss from Mom and Dad
Ate breakfast
Went to work
Worked (yeah mostly)
Came back from work
Worked up a sweat pumping iron
Showered
Hit the sack

Now this is my normal day;
It kinda goes like this;

See ? what did I tell you ? Birthdays are not what they used to be. You know what I’d like ? I’d like to wear a party hat, invite a few friends over, hire a clown or a purple dinosaur and have some ice cream and cake. But all I have now is a glass of beer and some chicken. Wait a minute… what the hell am I whining about? I have what I want right here. Mmmm.. Mr. Homer Simpson was right, “Alcohol is the cause of and answer to all of life’s problems”.
