Kanye West - 808s & Heartbreak - Review

I got this album last week after listening to a few tracks from it on the radio on my drive to work daily. 808s & Heartbreak was released in 2008 after the album "Graduation Day". Now I liked the songs in Graduation day coz they had a nice feel and infectious rythm to them. But this new album has got me stumped ! Most of the songs are about heartbreak and losing your love and to be honest downright fricking depressing.
**Warning** If you listen to this album while driving you might be tempted to drive off a cliff or drive head-on into a truck. Technically speaking, hes used a lot of Auto-tone in the vocals and they work to a certain extent. The mixing is excellent in many tracks and incorporate a lot of synth and electronica, but the Auto-tone tends to get on your nerves after a while. Theres a limit to how much voice modulation you can stand.

The tracks I liked the most were 'Love lockdown' and 'Welcome to heartbreak'.

Tracks
1. Say You Will
2. Welcome To Heartbreak featuring Kid Cudi
3. Heartless
4. Amazing featuring Young Jeezy
5. Love Lockdown
6. Paranoid featuring Mr. Hudson
7. RoboCop
8. Street Lights
9. Bad News
10. See You In My Nightmares featuring Lil Wayne
11. Coldest Winter
12. Pinocchio Story
